Proposals, scheduling, offline field capture, independent review and client reporting — with 51 inspection disciplines and their scope libraries already built in. We wrote it to run our own practice, and we still do.

Scope 3 of 11 · Samira H.
Most inspection firms run on a form builder, a folder of photographs, a spreadsheet and a word processor. Each is fine on its own. Together they lose things — which photo belonged to which finding, who signed it off, whether the engineer even held the licence the scope required.
We had the same problem. So we stopped bolting a process onto generic software and wrote software that already knows what a scope is, what a checkpoint is, what severity means, and why nobody should approve their own report.
Findings in a notebook, photos on an SD card, the report written from memory two days later.
Condition, severity and photograph captured at the moment of observation, attributable to a named engineer.
No way to know whether an inspector still holds the credential a scope requires.
Licence expiry tracked; the system will not assign work to someone who has lapsed.
Not a form builder with an inspection template bolted on. Every module below exists because a real inspection business needed it.
Scope from a library of 51 disciplines, price per line or per product, and issue a branded PDF. Approval turns it into a live project with every scope generated.
The administrator assigns each project to a field inspector, who carries out the inspection on the web or the iPad app.
Condition, severity, observation, recommendation, measurements and geo-tagged photographs — with no signal, on any device.
The inspector's data generates the report; the administrator reviews and approves it. Nothing reaches a client before that.
A 119-function permission matrix, custom roles and a project manager → lead → engineer chain.
Your clients sign in to see live progress, raise issues against a job, and download every approved report themselves.
Employee records with licence and certification expiry tracking, wired into who can be assigned what.
Invoices and payments on every plan, with subscriptions and a follow-up register on Enterprise.
An append-only record of assignments, approvals, releases and downloads, attributable to a named user.
A sole trader should not pay for an org chart they will never use. A fifty-person firm should not run on shared logins.
You are the whole business. One account with every function unlocked, no departments to configure and no roles to manage — just quote, inspect and deliver.
One administrator runs the business — proposals, clients, projects, approvals and invoicing — and assigns projects to field inspectors, who carry out the inspections.
You run an office. Departments, roles and a full permission matrix decide exactly what each person can see and do, and your clients sign in to their own portal.
You do not start with an empty system. Every discipline arrives with its governing standard, its scope structure and the checkpoints an engineer actually works through — from a home inspection to an ASTM E2018 property condition assessment.

Inspection Viewer Inc. runs a full inspection practice on this exact software — construction progress inspection for builder’s risk carriers, and direct property inspection for owners. Every awkward edge case you are about to hit, we hit first.

Because our own engineers work in basements and plant rooms every week.
A field engineer genuinely cannot approve their own report, and we rely on that.
Photo requirements are enforced at scope close, because reports get challenged.
Anything we have not covered? Ask us — you will get an inspector, not a script.
Ask a questionNo. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial and no payment details. We would rather you ran a real job through it and decided on the evidence.
Single User is one account with everything unlocked — 30 projects and 40 inspections a year, no roles to manage. Multi User adds field inspectors: one administrator does the proposals, clients, projects, approvals and invoicing, and assigns projects to inspectors, who carry out the inspections and whose data generates the report the administrator approves. Enterprise is the office: departments, roles, a 119-function permission matrix, the manager → lead → engineer chain, and a client portal where your clients sign in.
Each plan includes a number of seats. Beyond that you add seats monthly at the plan’s per-seat rate. A suspended member frees their seat immediately, so seasonal teams are not penalised.
Yes, and it is the part we are most confident about. The field app caches the whole job locally, records findings and photographs with no connection, and syncs in order when signal returns. Closing the app mid-sync loses nothing.
Yes. The 51 built-in disciplines are a starting point — you can edit them, add your own scopes and checkpoints, and set which ones require photographic evidence.
You do. Every organisation is isolated, your inspection records are yours, and you can export them. We do not train anything on your data or share it.
That is the only test that matters. Fourteen days, no card, your own scopes and your own site.
